Description: The Casa Grande Ruins were established to preserve the Ancient Sonoran Desert People farming community. This site was created as the nation's first archeological reserve. As well as viewing the historic site, there are various Native American festivals held on the grounds throughout the year.

Within the park there are also other activities in which to partake, There are guided bird walks, and Montezuma Well, which has some animals found no where else in the world.

Description: Dead Horse State Ranch is 400+ acres of camping, biking, hiking, canoeing, picnicking, fishing, or just relaxing in the clear waters. The park covers a six mile stretch of unique ecosystem called a riparian zone, of which there are less than 20 in the world. As always, the lagoons are stocked with catfish, bluegill, and bass.

Description: Twin Peaks Campground is the main campground in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Te site is located within 2 miles of the visitor center, and has over 200 sites, which accommodate RVs up to 40 feet in length, but two rows of these sites are reserved for tent camping only. Electrical hookups are not available, but there is running water in the on site restrooms. Registration is done at the Visitor Center.

Description: The campground at Alamo Canyon was established specifically for primitive camping. There are four campsites with grills, tables, pit toilets, and trashcans. Wood and ground fires are prohibited. Motorhomes are not allowed in this campsite. Camping is limited to the 4 established sites, which will hold a total of 20 people. A permit for use of this site can be obtained at the Visitor Center. Camping is limited to 7 consecutive calendar days.

Description: Dead Horse Ranch campgrounds have over 100 RV sites on first-come, first served basis, All campsites can be used as non-electric sites also. There is a camping limit of 14 nights in a 30 day period. Camping cabins are also available for rent by reservation. They are tucked away from the main campsites, making them a nice private getaway.
